Gadgetholic publishes setups: small, specific collections of gear chosen to work together in a room you actually have, at a budget you actually set.
How a setup gets made
Every setup starts from a constraint, not a product. A desk width, a wall, a shared kitchen counter, a carry-on. We decide what the space has to do, then work out which pieces are needed and which are not.
- We name who a setup is not for. That section is written before the product list, not after.
- We say why each piece is in the setup and what it costs you elsewhere. Every choice trades something away.
- We check compatibility that actually causes returns — clamp thickness, mounting patterns, port shapes, outlet placement.
What we do not do
- We do not claim to have tested something we have not. If a recommendation rests on manufacturer specifications and other people’s testing, we say so.
- We do not publish live prices. Prices move faster than we can verify them, so we point you to the merchant and let you see the current one.
- We do not rank by commission. A product earning us more is not a reason to recommend it, and a product earning us nothing is not a reason to leave it out.
- We do not fill a page with products to make it look thorough.
When we are unsure
Sometimes we cannot stand behind a link — the offer went stale, the item is out of stock, or we could not verify something that matters. When that happens the page says so and drops the link rather than sending you somewhere we are not confident about.
